Daryle Hines

Daryle has been a counselor for 30+ years and works primarily with older children, adolescents, college-aged students, and adults on an individual, couple, family, and group basis with a variety of issues.

Before joining Tabonuco, Mrs. Hines worked at Hickory Grove from 1990 - 2023 as a professional counselor. Daryle has also worked at The Family Connection, The Christian Connection, and has volunteered on the Psychiatric Unit at Presbyterian Hospital.

Reality Therapy and Control Theory, developed by Dr. William Glasser, is the framework for her counseling. Within that framework, she uses “Rational Emotive Therapy” (RET), developed by Dr. Albert Ellis, “Cognitive Behavioral Therapy”, developed by Aaren Beck and Donald Michenbaum, as well as Transactional Analysis and Gestalt. Many years of experience in both education and mental health have provided a basis for her working with diverse and intensely emotional, mental and spiritual issues.
