Gretel Farfan

Therapist

Gretel is dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships with clients from various backgrounds and genders, starting from the age of 4. She recognizes that each individual's journey is unique, and she tailors her therapeutic approach to meet the specific needs of her clients. With a strong foundation in evidence-based methods, Gretel employs techniques such as Child Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to facilitate growth and healing. In her work with children, Gretel adopts a systemic perspective, actively involving not only the child but also their parents in the therapeutic process. This holistic approach ensures that the entire family unit is supported and engaged in the journey toward well-being. Gretel holds a Master of Arts in Counseling, specializing in Clinical Mental Health and Play Therapy, from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. During her graduate studies, she had the opportunity to intern at Tabonuco, where she received invaluable training under the guidance of Dr. Phipps.
